Licence Error in Navigator

Modified on Sat, 29 Nov at 9:35 AM

What It Means

A licence error appears when Navigator cannot connect to its cloud server.
Because Navigator is cloud-based, it must maintain an active internet connection. If your computer cannot reach the server, you’ll see a licence error when logging in.

Why This Matters

Licence errors stop users from accessing Navigator until the connection is restored.
They are usually caused by a local issue such as internet loss, incorrect configuration, or blocked access rather than a problem with the Navigator system itself.

What to Check

  1. Internet Connection
Make sure your internet is working. Try opening a website in your browser.

  2. Firewall Settings
Check if your firewall is blocking Navigator. If your network settings recently changed, the software may need to be reauthorised.

  3. Anti-Virus Settings
Some anti-virus programs can block Navigator’s connection. Temporarily disable or whitelist Navigator to test this.

  4. Server Address Configuration
Confirm your server address is correct.

    • Go to the Start Menu and search for Navigator Setup.

    • Compare the Server Address with a computer that can connect successfully.

  5. Wider Connection Issue
If all users are affected, the problem could be on the server side.
