Manufacturer Parts Price File Updates

How Manufacturer Price Files Are Received and Updated

Navigator receives manufacturer parts price file updates directly from the manufacturers, alongside official manufacturer bulletins advising of upcoming changes.

This means our team is already notified of scheduled price file releases and does not need customers to inform us when an update is due.

How the Process Works

  1. Manufacturer Notification – Manufacturers issue bulletins advising of upcoming parts price changes and expected release dates.

  2. Price File Receipt – Navigator receives the updated pricing data directly from the manufacturer.

  3. Processing and Import – Once received, the latest price file is processed and loaded into Navigator as soon as possible.

  4. Updated Pricing – The new pricing becomes available within the system once the import has completed.

Do Customers Need to Notify Us?

No. There is no need to raise a support ticket or contact the Helpdesk to advise us of an upcoming manufacturer price file update.

We already receive these notifications directly and process the files as part of our normal procedures.

Important Information

The advertised release date does not necessarily mean the updated pricing will be available immediately.

We are dependent on the manufacturer supplying the data. Although we aim to process updates promptly, there may occasionally be a delay if the manufacturer releases the file later than expected or if additional processing is required.

If an updated price file has not appeared after its expected release, please contact the Helpdesk so we can investigate.
