How to Bulk Archive Customer Records

Maintaining a clean, up-to-date marketing database is essential for effective operations. Removing legacy customers who haven't engaged with your business for a while ensures your database remains lean and relevant. Navigator offers automated tools to simplify this process:

  1. Access the Customer Cleanse Function:

    • Go to Marketing > Marketing Data Management > Setup.
  2. Set Archiving Criteria:

    • Within the setup screen, configure the system to automatically archive customer records that meet your specified criteria (e.g., no activity within a certain timeframe).
  3. Automated Monthly Process:

    • The system will run the customer cleanse process monthly, archiving records based on your criteria.
  4. Important Note:

    • Archived customers who later return to the business will need to be created as new customer records.
