Maintaining a clean, up-to-date marketing database is essential for effective operations. Removing legacy customers who haven't engaged with your business for a while ensures your database remains lean and relevant. Navigator offers automated tools to simplify this process:
Access the Customer Cleanse Function:
- Go to Marketing > Marketing Data Management > Setup.
Set Archiving Criteria:
- Within the setup screen, configure the system to automatically archive customer records that meet your specified criteria (e.g., no activity within a certain timeframe).
Automated Monthly Process:
- The system will run the customer cleanse process monthly, archiving records based on your criteria.
Important Note:
- Archived customers who later return to the business will need to be created as new customer records.
