Column Breakdown

  1. Technician Number:

    • The unique identifier assigned to each technician.
  2. Technician Name:

    • The name of the technician associated with the job.
  3. Invoiced Date:

    • The date when the job was invoiced.
  4. Hours Taken:

    • The total time (in hours) taken by the technician to complete the job.
  5. Hours Sold:

    • The total time (in hours) that has been invoiced to the customer.
  6. Labour Sold:

    • The total labour value invoiced for the job.
  7. Labour COS (Cost of Sale):

    • The cost of labour calculated as:
      Hours Taken x Technician’s Hourly Rate.
  8. Labour Profit:

    • The profit from labour, calculated as:
      Labour Sold Value - Labour COS Value.
  9. Parts Value:

    • The total value of parts invoiced for the job.
  10. Menu Discount:

  • The total discount value applied, typically for menu-priced jobs.
  1. Labour Recovery:
  • A measure of how much labour cost has been recovered through invoicing, calculated as:
    Labour Sold ÷ Hours Sold.
  1. Labour Efficiency:
  • A measure of the technician's efficiency, calculated as:
    Hours Sold ÷ Hours Taken.
  1. Attended Hours:
  • The total hours a technician was clocked in (difference between clock-in and clock-out times for the day).
  1. Clocked-On Job Hours:
  • The total hours a technician spent actively working on productive jobs.
  1. Non-Productive Hours:
  • The total hours spent on non-productive tasks (e.g., training, waiting, or other non-job-related activities).
  1. Utilisation %:
  • A measure of how much of the attended time was spent on productive jobs, calculated as:
    (Time Clocked-On Jobs ÷ Attended Hours) × 100.
  1. WIP Adjustment:
  • The net difference between:
    • Time taken on jobs invoiced today but worked on previous days.
    • Hours clocked today for jobs that haven’t yet been invoiced.
