Navigator allows you to configure email and SMS booking confirmations for workshop jobs. This ensures customers are informed and reminded about their appointments effectively.
Steps to Configure Booking Confirmations
Access Service Parameters:
- Navigate to Workshop > Service Parameters > SMS/Email.
Set Up Email Confirmation:
- Select the Email Confirmation Reminder tab.
- Enter the desired text for the email confirmation message. This will be sent to customers when their booking is confirmed.
- Save your changes.
Set Up SMS Confirmation:
- Select the SMS Confirmation Reminder tab.
- Enter the desired text for the SMS confirmation message. This will be sent to customers as a booking confirmation or reminder.
- Save your changes.
Disabling Confirmation Messages:
- If you wish to turn off booking confirmations:
- Simply clear the text boxes in both the Email and SMS tabs.
- Save your changes to disable these notifications.

Personalise Messages: Use customer-specific placeholders (e.g., name, booking date, or time) to personalise the messages for better customer engagement.
Keep Messages Clear and Concise: Ensure the email or SMS contains essential information like the booking date, time, and contact details for rescheduling.
Test the Setup: Before enabling the confirmation system, send a test email or SMS to ensure the messages are configured correctly.
